Errol Community Hall Project

The redevelopment includes new toilets, a new reception area with a glazed gallery and seating area overlooking the park. The kitchen will be refurbished and there will be a number of other improvements to the building and facilities. This will be the result of a long fundraising campaign by a number of volunteers form the village over the years. The original intention was for a larger project to include a new sizeable hall room on the lower level, however the funds never met that aspiration and the case for receiving more grant aid was weakened after the building of the new school with its community gym hall. This taken into account and with regards to the continuing deterioration of the toilet block it was felt that the time had come to spend the money to make these improvements.

The building work is expected to start on the 9th of January and be completed in June. Happily Algo, the contractors, have assured us that the Hall will remain open to groups during this time.
